North Vietnam is a land of mist-covered mountains, sacred rivers and ancestral wisdom — often hidden beneath the hum of daily life.

In this 5-day immersive experience, you’ll be guided through temples, tea rituals and healing landscapes—woven together with the herbal traditions and spiritual practices of Northern Vietnam.

This is not a tour. It’s a slow, intentional journey for seekers, healers and curious hearts—those drawn to feel, taste and witness the living spirit of place through medicine, memory and myth.

Together, we’ll gather for herbal tastings, cycle through rice fields, soak in Red Dao plant baths, witness ancient rituals and share slow meals under open skies.

5-Day Itinerary Snapshot

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome

  • Arrive in Hanoi– airport pickup included.

  • We gather at 3pm for afternoon tea at a traditional dessert house.

  • Stroll the Old Quarter & Hoan Kiem Lake

  • Welcome dinner at Michelin-listed home-style restaurant Tam Vi

Stay: Eliana Signature or equivalent

✧ Arriving a day early is encouraged. Optional solo itineraries will be shared for early explorers.

Day 2: Herbs & Healing in Hanoi

  • Wander Lan Ong herbal medicine street and herbal sampling.

  • Local approved street food lunch adventure.

  • Visit West Lake & Phủ Tây Hồ Temple

  • Red Dao herbal bath & traditional herbal massage in the afternoon.

    ✧ Optional: Thang Long Water Puppet show in the late evening.

Day 3: Journey to Ninh Binh

  • Teahouse experience in the morning before departure.

  • Drive to Tam Cốc, Ninh Binh

  • Cycle through rice fields to Bích Động Pagoda & lunch

  • Evening herbal tea & storytelling circle: on healing, spirits and ancestors

    Stay: Tam Cốc Garden Resort or equivalent

Day 4: Explore Trang An

  • Morning yoga and meditation

  • Late morning – Boat tour of Tràng An Landscape (UNESCO Heritage)

  • Afternoon – Free time to rest, journal, explore

  • Dinner – Not included today; dine where you feel called

  • 8:00 PM – Optional evening herbal tea conversations

Day 5: Festival & Farewell

  • Morning qi gong session

  • Travel to Nam Định for the Phủ Dầy Festival

    • Witness the Hầu Đồng mediumship ritual

    • Sample local snacks

  • Drive back to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

  • Closing dinner + farewells

Food is a passion here. You'll enjoy a mix of home-style meals, vibrant street food and celebrated local spots. All dining options will be finalised via group survey and pre-trip Zoom call, so your tastes are heard. Local snacks, herbal drinks and surprises will nourish us along the way.

Note: One dinner (Day 4) is not included to give you spaciousness and flexibility.

  • I understand that life happens, and I’ll do my best to support flexibility. Please read carefully:

    • Deposits are non-refundable, as they go toward securing bookings and accommodation.

    • Cancellations made before February 1, 2026: 50% of remaining balance will be refunded.

    • Cancellations made after February 1, 2026: No refunds available.

    • You may transfer your spot to another person (pending approval) if you can’t attend.

    Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unforeseen changes.
